The customer contacted us for put-back, drywall reconstruction, and bathroom restoration services following upper-wall water damage and chronic humidity exposure. Moisture intrusion above the tiled wainscoting had caused the plaster and drywall paint to blister, peel, and delaminate, resulting in heavy water run staining, surface degradation, and unsealed drywall transitions above the toilet and towel bar fixtures.
We executed a complete bathroom put-back, drywall repair, and surface finishing solution to restore the space to pre-loss condition. Our technicians scraped away loose, delaminated plaster and peeling paint down to a sound substrate, thoroughly sanitising the affected area with an EPA-registered antimicrobial wash. We hung fresh moisture-resistant drywall boards where required, skim-coated the wall and ceiling transitions with setting-type joint compound, and hand-sanded the entire surface flush with the existing tile line. Finally, we applied a mold-inhibiting, high-adhesion primer across the repaired upper walls and ceiling to seal out bathroom moisture and prepare the room for durable topcoat painting.
