The customer contacted us for finish put-back, drywall repair, and surface prep services following previous water damage repairs. Saturated drywall around an overhead ceiling HVAC supply vent had required patching, while adjoining window sills exhibited paint peeling, wood grain separation, and surface wear from sun exposure and condensation moisture.

We provided a comprehensive finish put-back, drywall finishing, and trim restoration solution. Our technicians applied multiple coats of joint compound around the ceiling HVAC vent and vertical wall seams, feathering the edges and hand-sanding to create a seamless, flush transition with the existing ceiling plane. For the window trim, we taped off the glass and frame with protective painter's tape, scraped and sanded the damaged sill surface down to a stable substrate, and applied structural wood filler. Finally, we primed all patched drywall sections and repaired woodwork with a high-adhesion stain-blocking primer, preparing the room for final paint finishing.
