The customer contacted us for professional smoke damage assessment and remediation following a fire that occurred a year and a half ago. Unresolved combustion residues and fine soot particles had settled throughout the property over time, leaving dark filtration soiling along wall perimeters, lingering burnt odours embedded in carpets, and soot accumulation across basement utility equipment, masonry brick walls, and laundry appliances.
We provided a specialised fire and smoke restoration, soot removal, and structural deodorisation solution. Our technicians conducted detailed chemical sponge testing across the painted drywall and basement brick to lift embedded particulate soot. We performed comprehensive HEPA vacuuming on the affected wall junctions, floor trims, and carpet fibres, followed by a hot-water extraction wash with specialised soot-neutralising detergents. For the utility area, we hand-wiped and degreased the exterior surfaces of the water heater, furnace casing, plumbing conduits, and laundry units. Finally, we deployed commercial HEPA air scrubbers alongside thermal fogging and hydroxyl generators to neutralise stubborn, long-term smoke odour molecules trapped within porous structural materials.
