The customer contacted us for professional mold mitigation after discovering severe, widespread microbial growth spreading across their bathroom ceiling and along the adjoining room's ceiling seams. Inadequate bathroom ventilation and chronic steam condensation from daily shower use had accumulated on the ceiling plaster, creating an ideal breeding environment for active black mold colonies directly above the shower enclosure and light fixtures.

We executed a targeted bathroom mold remediation and containment protocol to safely eradicate the fungal contamination. Our team first isolated the bathroom from adjacent living areas using plastic containment barriers and deployed HEPA air scrubbers to capture airborne spores during cleaning. Technicians performed thorough HEPA vacuuming across all textured ceiling surfaces to extract surface spores without damaging the substrate. We then treated the entire affected ceiling and adjoining wall seams with an EPA-registered antimicrobial biocide to neutralize subterranean mold roots and finished with a mold-inhibiting encapsulant coating to prevent future moisture-driven fungal recurrence.
