The customer contacted us for put-back, drywall reconstruction, and flooring transition repair services following previous water damage mitigation and pipe repair work. Saturated ceiling sections had been cut out around overhead plumbing and HVAC lines, leaving large open drywall holes in the textured ceiling, while adjoining flooring transitions were left incomplete with exposed tack strips and raw concrete subflooring.
We provided a comprehensive structural put-back and interior repair solution. Our technicians squared off the damaged openings in the textured ceiling, installed wood backing supports, and hung fresh drywall patches, finishing with taping, mudding, and custom texture matching to blend with the existing ceiling pattern. On the flooring, we removed damaged tack strips, prepped the exposed concrete threshold, and installed matching transition strips between the parquet flooring and the adjacent storage room to ensure a safe, flush, and finished entryway.
