The customer contacted us for emergency mold mitigation and property decontamination after discovering severe, widespread fungal growth across multiple living spaces. Long-term plumbing leaks from disconnected water lines combined with unvented laundry humidity caused peeling ceiling plaster and extensive black mold colonization across laundry room walls, kitchen utility cavities, and hallway drywall surrounding the electrical breaker panel.
Our team provided a comprehensive, multi-phase mold remediation and environmental stabilization solution. Our team first isolated the affected zones with critical plastic containment barriers and set up commercial HEPA air scrubbers under negative pressure to capture airborne spores and prevent cross-contamination. After safely removing non-salvageable peeling ceiling debris and saturated materials, technicians performed thorough HEPA vacuuming across all drywall and wood surfaces. We then conducted a deep antimicrobial wash using EPA-registered broad-spectrum biocides on the contaminated wall cavities, plumbing recesses, and structural framing studs. Finally, we deployed commercial dehumidifiers to eliminate residual moisture pockets and applied an antimicrobial encapsulation sealant over the cleaned drywall and framing to permanently inhibit future microbial growth.
