The customer contacted us for commercial put-back and door hardware repair services after an exterior pool door sustained mechanical damage. Constant exposure to high humidity, moisture condensation, and regular use caused the commercial door hardware to fall out of alignment, resulting in missing mounting screws, a malfunctioning automatic flush bolt mechanism, and a loose overhead strike plate that compromised the facility's security and safety compliance.
We provided a comprehensive commercial door put-back, hardware restoration, and realignment solution to restore full functionality and security. Our technicians conducted a structural inspection of the metal door frame and edge mortise, removing corroded components and cleaning out accumulated debris around the latch pocket. We reseated and leveled the UL-listed automatic flush bolt assembly, securing it firmly into the metal door channel with heavy-duty commercial fasteners. We then realigned and reinforced the header strike plate on the upper door frame to ensure seamless engagement with the latch bolt. Finally, we adjusted the door swing and latch clearance, thoroughly testing the automatic locking mechanism to guarantee smooth operation, secure latching, and full building code compliance.
