The customer required professional reconstruction and "put back" services following a kitchen water damage loss that affected the ceiling. A localized leak had saturated a section of the ceiling drywall next to the track lighting, which required a clean inspection cutout to access the overhead plumbing and verify that the structural floor joists were completely dry.
We completed the kitchen ceiling restoration by preparing the cutout area and installing a new piece of moisture-resistant drywall matched perfectly to the thickness of the existing ceiling. Our team securely fastened the patch to the exposed wood joists, applied fiber tape and multiple coats of premium drywall joint compound, and sanded the seams to a perfectly smooth, level finish. We finalized the build-back by priming and painting the repaired section to match the surrounding white ceiling, ensuring a seamless finish that completely preserved the existing track lighting layout.
