The customer contacted us for professional mold mitigation after an ongoing roof or gutter leak allowed rainwater to penetrate the home's exterior envelope. This persistent moisture intrusion led to severe wood rot and heavy, black microbial growth on the attic's plywood roof sheathing, which subsequently migrated downward to cause drywall bubbling, ceiling stains, and mold contamination in the living spaces below.
We executed a detailed mold remediation and containment strategy by inspecting the exterior gutter lines and identifying the path of the moisture intrusion before addressing the structural damage inside. Our team treated the heavily contaminated roof sheathing and attic framing with professional-grade antimicrobial agents to eliminate the microbial colonies at the source, while safely isolating the interior living spaces to prevent spore migration. Finally, we documented the ruined, bubbling ceiling drywall and contaminated flooring to prepare the area for controlled removal, detailed source-cleaning, and structural drying.
